 CORONA VIRUS

Corona, known as covid-19 is a very small but most harmful virus. The term COVID indicates 3 terms. "CO" stands for corona "VI" for virus and "D" for the disease. It is an infection diseases. Actually it is first identified in Wuhan, a city of China on 31 December 2019. But now it has spread out all over the world and millions of people have lost their valuable lives. Even thousands of people all over the world have been suffering from it. All big cities of the world, business, educational institutions even religious place had to lock down. It has paralized the whole world. On 11 March, 2020 WHO, the World Health Organization declared the covid-19 as a pandemic. The symptoms of covid-19 are many. The most commons are fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, muscle pain, severe shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, headache etc. The disease is mainly transmitted when an infected person coughs, sneezes or exhales. It causes respiratory problems, kidney failure etc. The old, diabetes and heart problem patients suffer most. To keep ourselves safe and sound, we should follow some instructions. Washing hands regularly with soap or  sanitizer, covering nose and mouth following social distance of 1 to 3 metres, staying home and avoiding crowded place are very essential to prevent this disease. Strong immunity helps in the fight against Covid-19. Doctors recommend to take vitamin C, Zinc and D3. Many research academics and votaries of science have been struggling to invent it's vaccine. It is hopeful that some have become successful in this regard. But it is very important to have a positive mindset and should be aware during any pandemic.

কোভিড-১৯ নামে পরিচিত করোনা একটি খুব ছোট কিন্তু সবচেয়ে ক্ষতিকর ভাইরাস। কোভিড শব্দটি 3টি পদ নির্দেশ করে। "CO" এর অর্থ হল করোনা "VI" ভাইরাস এবং "D" রোগের জন্য। এটি একটি সংক্রমণ রোগ। প্রকৃতপক্ষে এটি 31 ডিসেম্বর 2019 সালে চীনের উহান শহরে প্রথম শনাক্ত হয়। কিন্তু এখন এটি সারা বিশ্বে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে এবং লক্ষ লক্ষ মানুষ তাদের মূল্যবান জীবন হারিয়েছে। এমনকি সারা বিশ্বে হাজার হাজার মানুষ এতে ভুগছে। বিশ্বের সব বড় বড় শহর, ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান, শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এমনকি ধর্মীয় স্থান পর্যন্ত লকডাউন করতে হয়েছে। এটি সমগ্র বিশ্বকে অচল করে দিয়েছে। 11 মার্চ, 2020-এ WHO, বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থা কোভিড -19 কে মহামারী হিসাবে ঘোষণা করেছে। কোভিড-১৯ এর লক্ষণ অনেক। সবচেয়ে সাধারণ হল জ্বর, কাশি, ক্লান্তি, গলা ব্যথা, পেশীতে ব্যথা, তীব্র শ্বাসকষ্ট, গন্ধ বা স্বাদ হ্রাস, মাথাব্যথা ইত্যাদি। সংক্রামিত ব্যক্তি যখন কাশি, হাঁচি বা শ্বাস ছাড়ে তখন এই রোগটি মূলত ছড়ায়। এতে শ্বাসকষ্ট, কিডনি ফেইলিওর ইত্যাদি হয়। বয়স্ক, ডায়াবেটিস ও হার্টের সমস্যায় সবচেয়ে বেশি ভোগেন রোগীরা। নিজেদের নিরাপদ ও সুস্থ রাখতে আমাদের কিছু নির্দেশনা মেনে চলতে হবে। সাবান বা স্যানিটাইজার দিয়ে নিয়মিত হাত ধোয়া, 1 থেকে 3 মিটার সামাজিক দূরত্ব অনুসরণ করে নাক ও মুখ ঢেকে রাখা, বাড়িতে থাকা এবং ভিড়ের জায়গা এড়িয়ে চলা এই রোগ প্রতিরোধের জন্য খুবই জরুরি। শক্তিশালী রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা কোভিড-১৯ এর বিরুদ্ধে লড়াইয়ে সাহায্য করে। চিকিৎসকরা ভিটামিন সি, জিঙ্ক এবং ডি৩ খাওয়ার পরামর্শ দেন। অনেক গবেষণা শিক্ষাবিদ এবং বিজ্ঞানের ভোটাররা এটির ভ্যাকসিন উদ্ভাবনের জন্য সংগ্রাম করছেন। কেউ কেউ এক্ষেত্রে সফল হয়েছেন বলে আশাবাদী। তবে ইতিবাচক মানসিকতা থাকা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং যেকোনো মহামারীর সময় সচেতন হওয়া উচিত।
